Grogan Funeral Home, Inc. has been in existence since Feb. 1997. Owners Ronald & Diane Grogan have lived in Polson for over 19 years. Ron was formerly employed by Mosley-Shrider Funeral Home and purchased the business in 1997.

Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota and has been in funeral service since 1984. The Grogan’s have two children and are proud that the funeral home is family owned and operated.

Fred Nelson is also a licensed funeral director that has been in and around funeral service for 40 years. Fred graduated from San Francisco College of Mortuary Science and was licensed in Idaho in 1966, and in Montana in 1975.

Fred is a member of the Washington Cemetery and Funeral Association, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ronan, and a member of the Ronan Chamber of Commerce. Fred and his wife Sherry have two grown daughters and three grandsons.

Tom Jones came to work at our firm in January 2004. Tom is a Polson native and currently serves on the Polson City Council.

Tom has completed the Mortuary Science Program at Pittsburg Institutate of Mortuary Science.  Tom passed the National Board Exam in December of 2006, and is serving his internship with our firm.  He is a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and is a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
