Betty Lou Brackensick

Betty Lou Brackensick age 82 of Ronan passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at her daughter’s home in Ronan. She was born to John David and Mildred Catherine “Sager” Showalter on May 11, 1926 at Galesburg, Illinois. She married Paul E. Brackensick and they were together for 46 years until his death in 1992. Betty enjoyed quilting and loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Her husband Paul E, brothers Clyde, Clifford, sisters Roxi, Virginia, Frances and Tice along with her parents, preceded her in death. She is surivived by her daughters Kathy Nalls, Linda McDermott, Rosa Goldstein, Elizabeth Brackensick, and Brenda Largent. Sons Paul E. Brackensick, Jr., and Harold Brackensick, along with a sister Leota Moulden, 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 1-5 pm at the residence of Linda McDermott at 615 Cleveland Street SW. Ronan.
