Sharla Bea Ellingham

Sharla Bea Ellingham age 76 of Polson passed away at her home on Friday, October 17, 2008 from natural causes. She was born October 15, 1932 at Hoopston, Illinois to Charlie and Olive (Sloan) Holmes. She attended schools and graduated from Hoopston High School. Sharla worked in marketing and research while living in Illinois. She and Robert Ellingham married in Las Vegas in 1960. After leaving Las Vegas they settled in the Bitterroot area on Montana namely Connor. They moved to Polson 13 years ago to live in their home on Kings Point. She was a member of the Polson Foursquare Church. Art and reading were her hobbies She was preceded in death by her parents, and is surivived by her husband Robert Ellingham of Polson, and a son Thomas (Cindy) Ellingham of Connor, Montana along with 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. We affectionately knew Sharla Bea Ellingham as "Sam". We were drawn to her at church by her loving smile and manners. Heidi and Sarah enjoyed giving her hugs, and I (Katrina) enjoyed visiting with her about what God was doing in her life. She had a strong and unwavering faith in God concerning his love for her and His great power to strengthen and heal her. She shared so many different times when God intervened on her behalf and she continually praised Him. We miss seeing her but delight in the knowlege that we will see her again in heaven.
