It was so good to hear from Walter about 2 years ago when he sent a greeting to the 50th Lutheran Bible Institute reunion of the classes of 1955-57 and the words he shared with us. He was a special man. We so appreciated him when he was working at LBI while we were students and also while Carolee was on the staff. Blessed be his memory. And thanks to Ruth who put us in touch with him then.

Sara and family, Sara, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. The little time I spent with him, I found him to be a grand old man. He had a lot to offer and I enjoyed his conversation. I know you will miss him. In God's grace and peace, Jackie and Charlie Lowrey
