Myrtle Amundson, age 89, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at Heritage Place in Kalispell, MT. Myrtle was born on October 19, 1923 to Jacob and Elizabeth Thomas Heffner on a farm homestead in McHenry County, now known as Heffner Lake Game Management area.
Myrtle married Ole Amundson, Jr. on July 17, 1948. Myrtle worked as a seamstress. Myrtle possessed many talents, including a green thumb, and she especially liked crocheting, making quilts, gardening, and playing with her dog, Snoopy.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Ole Amundson, Jr., 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Myrtle is survived by three sisters; a son, Jerry of Dayton; 2 grandsons, Json Heffner and D.J. Heffner; a granddaughter, Tiffany Giovanni; 5 great-grandchildren, Danielle, Kiley, Cody, and Kiera, all of Dayton, and Tyler of Minnesota.
